Otic

My poem Otic: a speculative study of auricular advancement is now up at Burning House Press:

aetheric that our ears cannot detect recurrent
shock is usually cumulative:
the air is full of sounds
compelled to adopt some skull to appear casually

Inspired by and featuring found text from century-old future-facing non-fiction, if you’ll allow me so many hyphens. In this poem I focused on sound, but I also plan to write pieces based around some of the other speculations I came upon at some point.

Burning House Press was the first place to accept my work for online publication and I’m thrilled to return to them alongside so many wonderful poets. With thanks to guest editor Paul Hawkins.
